Reorganization

I've been spending the last couple of days renewing my resume and portfolio, which is an act filled with both anticipation and frustration.  I'm excited by some possible new opportunities, and hopeful that I'll be presenting a really nice package to potential employers.

However, I've been looking at my own stuff for so long that its difficult to see it with a fresh eye.   Is it compelling, does it demonstrate more than mere competence?   How to winnow it all down to 6-8 pieces that will demonstrate my work fairly, fully and flatteringly?  Asking for other opinions can be helpful, but can also add to the confusion.

I'm going to be plugging away at it today, and maybe tomorrow, too, and possibly repeatedly, ad infinitum.
